Michaela Aman Ricci: A Journey in Dressage

Early Life and Beginnings Michaela Aman was born in Sweden, where she developed a passion for horses at a young age. Born in to family that had a love for horses for generations. Growing up in a country known for its strong equestrian traditions, she quickly immersed herself in the world of dressage, a discipline that demands precision, grace, and a deep connection between horse and rider.

Career in Sweden Michaela's early years in dressage were marked by dedication and success in the Swedish equestrian scene. She competed in various national competitions, gradually building her reputation as a skilled and promising dressage rider. Her hard work and natural talent did not go unnoticed, and she soon became a recognized name in the sport.

Move to Italy Michaela moved to Florence - Italy in 2008 and continued her career as a professional dressage rider. In 2010 she meet her husband Filippo Ricci, with whom she has 3 sons.

Personal Life While her professional life is demanding, Michaela values her personal time, spending quality time with her family and friends. Her love for horses extends beyond competition, as she is deeply involved in their care and well-being.

Training Philosophy and Approach Michaela Aman Ricci is known for her meticulous training philosophy, which emphasizes the importance of harmony between horse and rider. She believes in building a strong, trust-based relationship with her horses, ensuring they are not only physically prepared but also mentally engaged and confident. Future Aspirations

After many years living and working in Italy Michaela has finally decided to change her FEI nationality and  start to compete for Italy on the international show grounds starting from year; 2025! Looking ahead, Michaela remains committed to her career in dressage. She aims to continue competing at the highest levels in Grand Prix dressage,  always striving to improve and refine her skills.
